Happy Valentine's Day loves! May this day, evening, and night be filled with smilies, laughter and <surprise-surprise> LOVE :) My roses for you are actually light purple / lavender, as the colour palette of the wedding the images were shot at was all about purple, white and gold. Such a lovely combination, don't you think?

Yesterday I finally (!!!) got my must-have kit for macro photography. Honestly, I could not really justify buying a separate macro lens, so I got a set of Kenko Auto Extension Tubes to transform my prime portrait lens into a macro beast. It took some practicing and lots of light (I mean it, 2-3 light set-up) to make it work as I expected it to. And let me tell you, macro photography is a lot of fun! Of course, sometimes it allows you to see the details you probably don't really want you to see (bet you I would have been just fine without the knowledge of my fave rings being super scratched), but overall it's awesome.
